Israeli House
We are very happy to announce the opening of the Israeli House, under
the auspices of the Jewish Community Center and the Jewish Federation.
Israeli House's goal is to be a center for cultural and social life for
Israelis in the Greater New Haven area. All programs are in Hebrew and
will cater to both adults and families. Our target is to reach all Israelis in the
area and create a unique community that will enrich our lives
strengthen our connection to our roots in Israel.

Story time - "Sh'at Sipur" (story time) will be held monthly on the first Sunday of each month at 4:00pm in the JCC Babysitting room. Every meeting a different volunteer will read 2-3 stories in Hebrew on a particular theme. The stories will be followed by an art project or an activity that will reflect the theme. Our goal is to provide Hebrew speaking children an opportunity to participate in a Hebrew based program while interacting with other Hebrew-speaking children in a fun and educational environment. The program is designed for children ages 3 to 7. Parents are requested to stay and supervise their children. For more information or if you wish to volunteer call us at 203 387-2522 x276 or visit us on the web at www.jccnh.org

For more information please phone 203 387-2522 x276 or 203387-2424 x385. Please let us know how you would like to participate. Volunteers are always needed and welcome. Your participation is essential to our success.
