Women’s Philanthropy – 1300 Strong and Growing! Back

Women’s Philanthropy (formerly Women’s Division of the Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven) is the Women’s arm of the Annual Campaign. In 2009, hundreds of dedicated women raised more than $900,000, developed Jewish community leaders and raised awareness of needs in the Jewish locally and global Jewish community.

“Being a part of Women’s Philanthropy is an affirmation of our connection to our families, our community, and the Jewish people. Women’s Philanthropy provides opportunities for every woman to embrace the power of working together to make a difference. As a nation and a people, we face significant challenges,” said Women’s Philanthropy Chair Stephanie Wain. “We are 1300 women committed to making the world a better place for our children and children’s children and to strengthening our community. “

“I am asking for your support and involvement. Together, we will work to meet the needs of people everywhere by playing an essential role in healing the sick, feeding the hungry, preserving human dignity, and building and strengthening Jewish identity. I welcome your personal commitment to ensure that we as women philanthropists continue to make a substantial difference.”
