A Forum on Judaism

The Southern Connecticut State University Faculty Senate in partnership with the Judaic Studies Program presents A Forum on Judaism. Guest speakers include Rabbi Stacy Offner of Temple Beth Tikvah who will present "Judaism on One Foot", Martin Laskin, Assistant Professor, Sociology, Judaic Studies who will discuss "The Jewish Immigrant Experience", Marji Lipshez-Shapiro Senior Associate Director, Anti-Defamation League (ADL) Connecticut Regional Office, who will discuss "Voices of Anti-Semitism", Jenna Malkin, Student, Quinnipiac University; Trainer ADL, Confronting Anti-Semitism Program, who will discuss "Anti-Semitism from a Student’s Perspective", and  David Pettigrew Professor, Philosophy; Holocaust and Genocide Studies, who will discuss "Our Collective Responsibility". The presentations will be followed by a moderated discussion. Click to view event program.
