BEKI Talmud Study meets on select Sundays with Rabbi Eric Woodward.

Have you ever been interested in learning Talmud, but unsure where to start? Or have you been interested in learning more about Judaism and feel like getting into Jewish text? Or have you studied Talmud before, and you’d like to do more? All are welcome.

We are starting with a story near the end of what is known as Chapter 2 of Tractate Shabbat, a story that involves drama, mysticism, and revolution against the Romans. This is a great place to begin to, or return to, Talmud study.

Talmud meets this month on Sundays Oct. 5, 19, and 26 at 11 am in the library.
