Register in advance. PJ Library at Home Celebrates Tu B'Shevat!
Tu B’Shevat is considered the New Year of the Trees and marks the start of spring in Israel when trees begin to bloom after a long, cold winter. Tu B’Shevat is often referred to as Jewish Arbor Day, but with today’s keen environmental awareness, it has also become something of a Jewish Earth Day.
Celebrate Tu B'Shevat from home with PJ Library. Pick up a craft kit in advance to create a 'Grass Head' person and join your PJ Library friends on Zoom to craft together and learn all about the New Year of the Trees and why we should care for the earth. Craft and story will be led by Dror Abiri with a Tu B’Shevat Seder demonstration by Ephrat Lieblich of Ladle and Loaf.
We hope you enjoy creating your "Grass Head" person and watching their grass hair grow! Register early, kits are limited!
