SUMMARY:Kever Avot
DESCRIPTION:Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven\nCommunity Calendar\nhtt
 ps://jewishnewhaven.org/eventlist/kever-avot-1525894026\n\nHistorically\,
the Jewish community of New Haven offers a special program "Kever Avot" th
e Sunday between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur to provide a space and place
for survivor families to come together to recite kaddish. This special Su
nday often sees loved ones visiting cemeteries for this purpose. Since sur
vivors have no cemetery to visit\, the Holocaust Memorial on Whalley Avenu
e provides the venue for the gathering.
