What does it mean to be a genetic disease carrier? Why is it important to get tested? How does it work and who is most vulnerable? Daniel Sperling, Program Director of the Marcus Foundation, and Karen Grinzaid, JScreen Senior Director, will give a comprehensive overview of testing for genetic disorders. Of utmost importance for anyone with Jewish ancestry, this multi-media presentation will also cover topics of prevention, misconceptions, implications, costs, test kits and screening.
