Both Back Stage Magazine and The Hollywood Reporter agree: Modi is one of the ‘Top Ten’ comedians in the business today. Lately, the rest of the industry has been taking notice. Modi has been featured in The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, The New York Post, Time Out New York, and Lifestyles Magazine. Modi also has served as a contributor to “Fashion Police,” the US Magazine column. An accomplished actor, Modi has landed spots on HBO’s The Sopranos, as well as CBS’ CSI: New York, two of the biggest television dramas. He has also brought his acting to the silver screen, appearing in Stand Up, a 2006 feature film. Modi also appeared as a lead in Waiting for Woody Allen, which won the Los Angeles Film Festival in 2004. As a stand-up comic, Modi has appeared on E! Network’s The Howard Stern Show, Comedy Central’s Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, and NBC’s Last Comic Standing. Modi’s other spots include BET’s Comic View, NBC’s Friday Night, and Metro Channel’s New Joke City with comedy legend Robert Klein. Modi is a regular at the top clubs in both New York and Los Angeles, performing all over the country as a top-notch headliner. He has landed coveted spots performing at Montreal’s famous Just For Laughs Festival, as well as Washington DC’s John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
