Join us at the JCC as we welcome author and anthropologist Dr. Ruth Behar to share insights from her book, Traveling Heavy: A Memoir in Between Journeys. Ruth will share about the complex nature of identity, bringing in stories from her Yiddish-Sephardic-Cuban-American family and how this upbringing led her into a life as a Cultural Anthropologist.

This program is part of our Celebration of Jewish Latin & Ladino Life in Greater New Haven.
