New Haven Chorale - Judas Maccabaeus

7:00PM - 9:00PM

The Church of St. Mary's 5 Hillhouse Avenue
New Haven, CT 06411

$ Cost $ 20.00

Join the Chorale and orchestra under the baton of Music Director Edward Bolkovac, amid St. Mary’s majestic architecture and resonant acoustics, for this spectacular conclusion of our 65th season! Handel’s beloved, final oratorio tells the heroic tale of Judas Maccabaeus, a great Jewish warrior who triumphed over overwhelming opposition. Tuneful and virtuosic arias by internationally acclaimed soprano Julianne Baird, contralto Judy Bowers, and tenor William Hite intertwine with robust, energetic choruses in Handel’s spell-binding storytelling. We promise an unforgettable evening!
