At Southern Connecticut Hebrew Academy the seventh and eighth graders are preparing for the trip of a lifetime, to Eretz Yisrael! The students and their families couldn’t be more excited, with weekly Israel experience classes incorporated into the curriculum for the students, and details of the itinerary being finalized.   

As this program carries a tremendous cost, each family will pay for part of their child’s travel; the school intends to subsidize the trip with help from the Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven and fundraising. An exciting auction is planned for Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017, at SCHA – 261 Derby Ave. in Orange. The Israel Experience Auction has been held annually to support the trip to Israel, offering prizes of sports ticket packages, kosher restaurant gift cards, shopping packages, special discounts for local and sleep away camps and so much more.

Auction Drawing, 8:45 p.m.

Admission: $20 per person or $36 couple. Free $20 ticket with each admission purchased.
