Be proactive and join Tower One/Tower East for a free six part educational series. Part one of a six part series will cover - Preventing Falls, One Step at a Time. Designed to improve a person's awareness of fall risk, this class will focus on hazards inside the home and key indicators to be aware of while out and about. A Licensed Physical Therapist and health care administrator will provide insight and helpful tips into community and household mobility. She will give examples of simple changes that can be immediately applied to working in the garden, the yard, the house and the community. Staying safe in the parking lots, stairs and sidewalks will also be discussed.
