Torah Completion and Dedication 

On Sunday March 22nd we will be completing and dedicating a Torah at our Shul. For more information and to participate in this important mitzvah please visit OrchardStreetTorah.eventbrite.com

Dedicate a book, portion or letter in the Torah!

A Torah scroll is hand written on parchment with special ink. Over the years the letters tend to crack and fade rendering the Torah unfit for use. Thanks to the vision of Mr. Mark Wolfe, we have commissioned a scribe to restore an almost 100 year old Torah so that we can use it during services. We invite you to join us for its completion and dedication celebration.

Please note that all events offered by the Jewish Federation, Foundation, and JCC of Greater New Haven may include photography. Photos taken at events may be used in our social media, websites, and in print materials to support the objectives of our organizations and to promote future events.  We respect our patrons' privacy. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let us know at the event registration and welcome desk.
