Barbara has traveled extensively, visiting many of the major art museums of the world.  The majority of her travels and paintings have focused on Israel, reflecting her strong Jewish identity and deep admiration for the modern State. Drawn to the spirit and history of Israel, she paints its landscapes with the goal of revealing the country’s richness and beauty to a world too often accustomed to reading only of conflict and controversy. Barbara's canvases offer a counterpoint, suffused with affection and vitality.  Each canvas becomes a dialogue between history and renewal, imbued with the energy and resilience of Israel today.
