The JCC, in partnership with the Woodbridge Town Library and First Selectman Ellen Scaletter will present a FREE lecture series from local "Big Thinkers" with engaging expertise to share. Tonight's event will feature Steve Munno from Massaro Farm and Jonathan Gorham from Green Media Ventures, discussing Climate Change and Sustainable Agriculture.

The topic of conversation is Climate Change and Our Food System. Droughts, extreme heat, bee die-offs and various extreme weather events put our current agriculture system in peril. Most agronomists, state and federal agricultural agencies, and farmers themselves agree that we need a more diverse and resilient food system. This talk will focus on the relationship between Climate Change and the industrial food system. It will also focus on the role of small, diverse agriculture as part of the sustainable solution to this predicament. RSVP HERE.
