In the past nine months, the phrase "Never Again" has taken on renewed urgency and meaning for the Jewish community. Five years ago, Jewish Federations, along with Hadassah, spearheaded the efforts to pass the "Never Again Education Act" to make sure that the lessons of the Holocaust and the message of "Never Again" will be taught to current and future generations of children. Today, Jewish Federations thank the Senate for unanimously reauthorizing it for the next five years, and urge the House to quickly pass its reauthorization as well.
