Jewish Federations of North America's annual General Assembly convenes thousands of Jewish leaders from around the world to address the Jewish community's most pressing challenges. The most influential voices in Jewish leadership, philanthropy, and policy will gather November 8-10 in Washington, D.C. to Rebuild Israel, Secure Our Communities, and Inspire Jewish Engagement. 

 

Joining us this year are Selma Blair, Modi, Brett McGurk, Douglas Murray, and MP Melissa Lantsman, who will share powerful perspectives on resilience, identity, leadership, and community to inspire our collective action. 

 

Acclaimed actress, fashion icon, advocate, and author Selma Blair's unique perspective is shaped by her formative years in Jewish day school and summer camp, family ties to Israel, and her experience raising a child in an interfaith family. In today's challenging climate, Blair uses her global platform to confront rising antisemitism and champion Jewish pride. 

 

Tel Aviv-born and New York-raised Modi is a fixture in New York's vibrant comedy scene. His global tour, "Pause for Laughter," concluded with two sold-out shows at Radio City Music Hall. A hit with diverse audiences of all backgrounds, Modi has been featured on The Tonight Show, Netflix, HBO, CBS, NBC, and many more. 

 

Brett McGurk is a CNN analyst and former national security official who served in four presidential administrations, most recently under President Biden. He led negotiations to secure the Gaza hostage release and ceasefire and is the author of the forthcoming book BRINK: Inside the Race to Free the October 7 Hostages. 

 

Melissa Lantsman is a Canadian Member of Parliament and Deputy Leader of the Conservative Party who brings a powerful perspective on international policy, public advocacy, and combatting antisemitism. 

 

Bestselling author, journalist, and political commentator Douglas Murray has reported extensively from Israel, Gaza, Lebanon, and Ukraine. His most recent book, On Democracies and Death Cults: Israel and the Future of Civilization (2025) draws on his reporting following October 7.
