All JCC of Greater New Haven Locations Safe After Bomb Threat Received

The JCC Fitness Center, administrative offices and Yeladim Early Learning Center were evacuated this morning after receiving a bomb threat over the phone. Local and state police responded to each location and a team of bomb-sniffing dogs searched the buildings, which have now been deemed safe.

A woman called in the threat around 9:22 a.m., but did not specify which location the threat was against. All locations were evacuated as a precaution, and staff notified the police.

Authorities are investigating the threat. All locations are now operating as usual.
