People across the state of Texas are struggling with the horrific effects of a recent winter storm. Freezing temperatures and a lack of power have wreaked havoc across the state. Tens of thousands of people are without power, clean water and emergency supplies to stay warm.

Our Federation system has responded with swift action. Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), our partner representing Federations in the U.S. and Canada, has been in close touch with all Texas Federations. They are identifying needs and working with our national community to provide urgently needed supplies.

As an act of chesed (loving-kindness) for Purim, help those in need by contributing to JFNA's emergency relief fund, which is providing communities across Texas and other affected states with emergency supplies and necessities to get through and rebuild from this disaster.

Our partners will continue to evaluate and address the situation. We send our love and best wishes to all those affected by this historic storm.
