Temple Beth Tikvah welcomes Cantor Stanton

Temple Beth Tikvah in Madison is excited to announce the appointment of Cantor Mark Stanton as their new Cantor-Educator. He will join Rabbi Stacy Offner on July 1 as a full-time member of their clergy team.

Cantor Stanton grew up in Flushing, Queens, and received his Bachelor of Music in 1993 at the University of Hartford’s Hartt School of Music.

He was ordained as a cantor in 2004 at the Academy for Jewish Religion and has since served as the full-time cantor of Congregation Beth Emeth in Wilmington, Delaware. He has worked closely with the rabbi, religious school director, and staff of his synagogue to create innovative and exciting spiritual, musical, and learning experiences for congregants of all ages, and he brought those same skills to running the B’nei Mitzvah program.

He has a love of programming for children, serving as visiting faculty at Jewish summer camps for many years. His passion for drama and choral music are evident in events he fostered at his synagogue and at camp.

Temple Beth Tikvah invites you to meet Cantor Stanton by joining them for Shabbat services.
