Women's Philanthropy: Why I Give

We live in an uncertain world and caring for those in need along with building a strong and vibrant community is so very important. The Jewish Federation is dedicated to the continuity, connectivity, and thriving future of the Jewish people and that is why I give. It connects Jewish people here in New Haven, Israel around the world.  As a Lion of Judah, I am proud to wear my pin as a symbol of today's Jewish Woman's strength, caring, and ability to make a financial commitment to the Federation Annual Campaign. Additionally, I have endowed my Lion in perpetuity for the future of our Jewish community.

Stacey Trachten serves on the National Women's Philanthropy board of Jewish Federation of North America. She received the Kipnis-Wilson/Friedland Award for demonstrating the highest ideals of leadership and involvement in the Jewish community. Trachten is also the recipient of the Harry Lender Young Leadership Award and the Ezra Academy Community Service Award. She has been a proud Lion of Judah since 1998 and an endowed lion since 2008.
