Thirty-five preschools in southern Israel are among the recipients of thousands of large LEGO blocks from the toy's Danish manufacturer. The Danish ambassador to Israel, who delivered the good news, said: "the children who live under the threat of Qassams need to be able to escape to a world of magic and creativity – something that can be done with Legos."
Apparently the gift came about after LEGO gave a similar gift to children in Ramallah, the capital of the Palestinian Authority. Read article
